As a not-for-profit organization of gardeners, the Indianapolis Hosta Society is continually seeking ways in which to increase public awareness of the genus Hosta and contribute to our community.
Over the years we have donated plant material and labor to several
gardens in the central Indiana region. Two of these projects
continue to date. In Holliday Park (Indianapolis), where many
of our local meetings are held, are two garden beds planted
and regularly maintained by Society volunteers; the gardens
at the Indianapolis
Museum of Art have also received regular donations of
needed plant material for their projects.
